Problem With "Make Movie" In Pinnacle Studio 8.12

Running on Pentium IV 3,4Mhz, 1GB RAM 1 doesn't work with external HD 2 quits working when files become too large (app.20 min) 3 freezes for minutes if you work too This worked fine, rendering and making a disc. Does that make sense? I will not be beaten! weblink

Error free DVD writing, at least for me. I thought I had "cracked it". Progressive-Scan MPEG, which worked all through the Studio 8 line, and continued to work up to 9.1.2, is now forbidden. I get quite a few messages 'windows enc an unknown prob.

Perhaps that is the answer. Are you NTSC or PAL? Where does the scene change? i'm middle age and i don't have 20 yrs to learn this junk that don't half work anyway.
