Maybe someone posted the correct answer down below but I have not seen it yet... I thought I would try to add a printer, but get the same message. It requires manufacturers to provide owners and independent repair shops with access to repair information and replacement parts—so you have the resources you need to fix things quickly and affordably. Try updating your drivers first.
