I think it's the more complex clipboard with all sorts of custom settings. Once I did this & rebooted, all was fine. Also, ALT+PrntScr seems to work, but that's only for the current window, and I frequently screenshot my entire workspace. I thought that it went away just about the time that I found this page while attempting to solve the problem. After a week without problems, Skype click to call was definitely the source of the trouble for me. is it extremely high? In my case it was Advanced System Care 5 from IOBIT software...LOVE THE SOFTWARE on Win 7..speeds everything up and clears out all the BS Miscosoft stuff running at boot... Certainly you can use the Printscreen button in XP to capture an image.

FilterKeys is already unchecked. I know the key works, as this KB is linked to 2 PC's via a KVM switch, and on this PC pressing PrtScr copies the screen to the clipboard, and the My screenshots no longer go to the clipboard. The Print Screen key won't capture the screen and put the contents on the Clipboard. I had the same problem and you helped me fix it. This was the 1st attempt to print on this PC. In that case, either do a regular screenshot and crop the resulting image, or use a third party screenshot tool.
