I have to go down to the start bar and click close a couple times before I get 'This program is not responding.' I have Norton so I did a scan, Open Task Manager, navigate to the "Processes" tab and select the frozen program or window. thank you so much.. Internet Explorer 11 Won't Close

As of a day or two ago, when I try to close out Internet Explorer (I think I have version 7) the window goes blank and nothing happens. Before doing this, attempt to save any work if you can. I don't understand how this happened but I'm glad you knew how to fix it!! Is there a way to reset that?

I have to right-click the task bar on the bottom, click "Task Manager" then click off internet explorer. This will bring you back to the default IE settings. I am guessing they were triggered when I closed IE via the task manager.
